UHMWPE Sheet vs Steel Liners
UHMWPE sheets offer lower friction and easier installation compared to steel liners.

Steel liners have been widely used in industrial wear protection systems. However, UHMWPE sheets are increasingly adopted as an alternative due to their performance advantages.
One key difference is weight. UHMWPE sheets are significantly lighter than steel, making transportation and installation easier and reducing labor costs.
Another important factor is friction performance. Steel surfaces tend to cause material sticking and buildup, especially in wet environments. UHMWPE sheets provide a low friction surface that improves material flow.
In terms of corrosion resistance, UHMWPE does not rust or corrode, making it suitable for humid and chemical environments. Steel liners often require maintenance and protective coatings.
While steel may offer higher structural rigidity, UHMWPE provides better overall performance in wear reduction and operational efficiency in many applications.
